STRICTLY COMPETITION (choose your own partner)

Dance XL Texas State Championship is a competition showcasing the BEST strictly dance partnerships. Although everyone is welcome to compete, one TEXAS couple will be named "Texas State Champion". 

Podium will consist of 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place for the strictly competition. Additionally, the Texas couple who  placed the highest it the competition will be named Texas State Champion.

Format: Each lead/follow will get 2 chances to steal a Dance XL instructor during the comp

Partners will be randomized and there are limited spots available to sign up.

Must do both line dances for the competition (listed below)

  • Jack and Jill PRELIMS  Registration CUT OFF TIME 7:30pm
    • Divisions: Novice/Beginner & Intermediate/Advanced
    • Progressive movement around the dance floor ideal
    • Lifts NOT Allowed
    • Random partners
    • $10/ presale $15/day of per person
• Strictly (+State Championship) PRELIMS
  • Must sign up through nomination form first to be added to regional teams (10 leads and 10 follows per regions: Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Best of the Rest
